(April 6, 2012) - Madill students of many ages had a rare opportunity to tour INTEGRIS Marshall County Medical Center on Thursday, April 5, 2012.
Students got a hearty welcome from the staff and had an in-depth tour and demonstrations in the various departments of the hospital including physical therapy, radiology, surgery, respiratory, lab, nursing and emergency. Area physicians were on hand to talk with the students, as were the Marshall County EMS.
The highlight of the tour was the Eagle Med crew who brought the helicopter that they use to transport patients. Each of the students that attended the tour received a goodie bag from the hospital, and are pictured with their age group next to the Eagle Med helicopter.
Maybe one of these budding youngsters will be inspired to work in the medical field, and maybe they will one day return to work at INTEGRIS Marshall County Medical Center.
