Candy Hill Named Employee of the Year at IMCMC

Madill, Okla. (March 5, 2012) – INTEGRIS Marshall County Medical Center is proud to announce that Candy Hill has been named Employee of the Year. Candy is Radiologic Technologist at IMCMC, and has been a tech for XRays and CT scans since she started in October of 2009.

Candy first decided to pursue a career in the medical field because she enjoys helping people and likes to make people smile even though they aren’t feeling well. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences in 2009. After graduation, she immediately began work at IMCMC and has been a valued member of the Radiology Department since.

To qualify to receive this honor, an employee must have first been nominated as Employee of the Month throughout the last year, and the winner is then chosen from the twelve monthly honorees. Other requirements for qualification include that the employee must have completed at least one year of service with IMCMC, received a favorable score on their last evaluation, completed at least eight hours of community service, and not had any disciplinary action within the last year. Candy far exceeded these qualifications and was nominated by her peers to receive the award.

One of her fellow employees commented that “She is always willing to help, no matter where in the hospital that help is needed. She can stay late or come to work early, whatever it takes. She is very nice and polite to the patients, especially the older generation. She always makes everyone’s day a lot brighter.”
